Our Research Portal

The Research Management Office (RMO) of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos was created to advance the College’s capacity to actualize her strategic mission of correct positioning as a world class research intensive Medical School.

The RMO is to value and support the research efforts of all our faculties for development of an effective research infrastructure supported by appropriate human and physical resources, to facilitate research.

"To be a world-class research intensive medical college,to deliver teaching and facilitate learning of the highest quaility and to play a leading role in health and economic development of Nigeria."

I welcome you all as the 15th Provost of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. Idi Araba. The vision of the College of Medicine is “to be a Centre of global distinction in medical training, research, clinical services as well as character and service to humanity”.

Past administrations have worked tirelessly in actualizing this vision as evidenced by the outstanding health professionals that our College has produced. These are professionals who have positively changed the narratives in Nigeria’s health sector.

We will actualize this vision despite the myriad of challenges confronting us among which include infrastructural deficits, inadequate funding, environmental issues and lately the Corona Virus pandemic.

We will maximize every opportunity and mitigate threats in our efforts to take the College to greater hieghts.

To our dear students please be assured that we place a high value on your safety as all resources and strategies are being deployed to ensure safety and make learning worthwhile on our campus.
