NON ACADEMIC STAFF UNION OF EDUCATIONAL AND ASSOCIATED INSTITUTIONS (NASU) EXECUTIVE PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON THE PROVOST, PROFESSOR DAVID ADEWALE OKE IN HIS OFFICE

The newly elected Executive members of the Non Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU), College of Medicine, Idi Araba Branch, on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 paid a courtesy call on the Provost, Professor David Adewale Oke FAMedS in his office.

Comrade Ayantoye Bukayo, the Branch Chairman thanked the Provost and other members of the management for acceding to their request to pay a courtesy visit. He further thanked the Provost for providing the needed support to members of the Union and therefore pledged the continuous support of the Union to the management.

Comrade Bukayo used the opportunity of the visit to discuss some of the challenges and needs of members of the union such as; annual medical screening for staff, payment of earned allowance, lateral conversion among others.

The Provost in his response welcomed the NASU executive and appreciated them for the visit. He diligently addressed some of the issues brought before the management by the union and promised to look into other issues that could not be immediately addressed. He advised the new NASU executive to design a welfare policy that will be beneficial to members of the union

Present at the visit were the: College Secretary, Dr. Olayinka Obafemi-moses FNIM, Director of Finance, Dr. Simeon Akinade, Ag. Medical Librarian, Dr. Blessing Ukachi, Director of Engineering services, Engr. Olatunbosun Oloyede, NASU Secretary, Comrade Balkis Saliu, Treasurer, Comrade Olatunde Soaga, and Comrade Aderonke Ogunkeye.
