FACULTY OF BASIC CLINICAL SCIENCES ANNOUNCES MAIDEN ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Ahead of its maiden Annual Conference and Gathering scheduled for Tuesday, June 23 to Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Old Great Hall of the College, the Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences held a press briefing on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to create awareness and outline plans for the event.
Speaking at the briefing, the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Fatima Abdulkareem, said the conference is designed to showcase the Faculty’s commitment to innovation, research, and quality education. She described the event as a major milestone for the Faculty, which was established less than a year ago.
According to her, the conference, themed “Precision in Practice: Integrating Diagnosis, Therapeutics and Clinical Insight,” will provide a platform for collaboration and the development of practical solutions to health challenges.
In his remarks, the Provost, Professor Ademola Oremosu, noted that the College has maintained a long-standing reputation for excellence in medical education and research. He added that the conference would further strengthen collaboration among academics, clinicians, industry leaders, and policymakers.
The Chairperson of the Conference Planning Committee, Professor Titi Adeyemo, said the event will feature plenary sessions, panel discussions, and multidisciplinary engagements aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
The Faculty expressed optimism that the conference will set a new standard for innovation and collaboration in the health sector.
