CMUL Radiography Graduates Inducted by the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria.
The Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, inducted thirty-nine graduates of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL) into the Radiography profession.
The 11th Radiography Induction Ceremony, held at the Old Great Hall of the College, attracted members of the College Management led by the Provost, Professor Ademola Oremosu, faculty and administrative staff, students, parents, and well-wishers.
Representing the Registrar/CEO of RRBN, Professor Mark C. Okejie, Rad. Christian Onyekuru congratulated the inductees on the successful completion of their academic and clinical training. He commended the leadership of the University and College, as well as the Department of Radiography, for maintaining high standards in the training of competent professionals for Nigeria’s healthcare sector.
Addressing the newly inducted radiographers, he urged them to remain faithful to the oath of their profession and to commit to continuous professional development in line with global best practices. He emphasized the importance of specialization and advanced qualifications in meeting the evolving demands of modern radiographic practice.
In his remarks, the Provost, Professor Ademola Oremosu, described the induction as a defining milestone in the graduates’ lives. He encouraged them to be worthy ambassadors of the College, uphold integrity in their professional conduct, and adhere strictly to the ethical standards guiding radiographic practice.
Delivering the keynote lecture at the ceremony, Mrs. Kudirat Lawal-Adesina advised the inductees to cultivate a clear career vision. She noted that “career vision is the compass that turns ambition into achievement,” and urged them to develop discipline, punctuality, honesty, and attention to detail. She further stressed that dedication to the profession would yield lasting rewards.
Highlights of the ceremony included the administration of the professional oath, presentation of certificates, and recognition of outstanding graduating students.
The induction of the thirty-nine new radiographers once again underscores the commitment of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos to producing highly skilled healthcare professionals and strengthening Nigeria’s healthcare workforce.
