CMUL COMMISSIONS THREE NEW DENTAL CHAIRS DONATED BY FLOUR MILLS OF NIGERIA PLC TO THE FACULTY OF DENTAL SCIENCES, COLLEGE OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS

The Provost, Professor David Adewale Oke, FAMedS, commissioned three new Dental Chairs donated by Flour Mills of Nigeria PLC to the Faculty of Dental Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Lagos on Friday, August 18, 2023. This is in addition to previous donations to the Faculty of Dental Sciences by the company.

Professor Oke expressed his appreciation to the company for their consistent support and generous donations of dental chairs to the College of Medicine over time. The company representatives, led by Mr. Joseph Umolu, thanked the College of Medicine Management for the warm reception accorded them and declared that Flourmills was poised to donate many dental chairs to the Faculty of Dental Sciences, but the prevailing economic downturn in the country has hindered her efforts.

He disclosed that the purpose of donating the dental chairs was to support oral health and informed that Flourmills chose to collaborate with the Faculty of Dental Sciences in acknowledgement of the humane services being rendered to the teeming customers of the company and Nigerians at large

Mr. Umolu and other members of his team were later presented with an award plaque and also decorated with the College of Medicine sashes in the Board room of the College in appreciation of their company’s continuous support to the Faculty of Dental Sciences, College of Medicine, University of Lagos.
