He added that the University of Lagos is among the three groups of premier universities in Nigeria selected to carry out research projects and expressed his willingness to work with the University of Lagos to make it more competitive and visible among other ivy leage universities. <\/p>\n\n<p>He also suggested ways to work with the University by building networks in order to raise her profile and informed of the plan to launch an M.Sc. and joint Ph.D. programmes as well as trainings in various areas of research.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Provost, Professor David Adewale Oke, welcomed and commended the visitors. He acknowledged that the visit has provided opportunities to further move forward and promised to give the necessary support and assistance to achieve the outlined goals.<\/p>\n\n<p>In attendance were the Dean, Faculty of Clinical Science, Professor F. B. Akinsola; College Secretary, Dr. O. A. Obafemi-Moses, FNIM; Director of Finance, Dr. S. A. Akinade; Hub Director, NIHR GSU, NIGERIA Hub, Professor Adesoji Ademuyiwa; Dr\u2026 Farida from University of\u2026.
