Based on this premise, endowed or scholarships may be established and funded by an individual alumnus or alumna, or by a class. You can also contribute to a variety of student activities, like the financially challenged Student Fund or support the Rejuvenation Campaign.<\/p>\n\n<p><b>Make It Count<\/b><br>\nThe importance of scholarships and financial aid cannot be overstated. Students rely on this support to pursue a medical education. The need for scholarships continues to grow-creating a gap of unmet need among Medilag students.<br><br>\n\nAll gifts to scholarships at CMUL move us closer to the goal. It is true that every little bit counts. Regardless of how much you\u2019re able to give, every gift is important to the CMUL Scholarship Endowment and most importantly, to students! Make sure your gifts counts!<br><br>\n\nIs it a stretch for you to think about making a lump sum gift? Consider making a monthly or annual commitment to the initiative. A child or a book or a painting or a house or a wall built or a pair of shoes made. Or a garden planted. Something your hand touched some way so your soul has somewhere to go when you die, and when people look at that tree or that flower you planted, you\u2019re there.<br><br>\n\nIt doesn\u2019t matter what you do, he said, so long as you change something from the way it was before you touched it into something that\u2019s like you after you take your hands away. The difference between the man who just cuts lawns and a real gardener is in the touching, he said.
