2022 TRAIN THE TRAINERS FOR THE NEWLY EMPLOYED FACULTY MEMBERS IN THE CLINICAL AND DENTAL SCIENCES 



The Deputy Provost, Professor O.A.T. Ebuehi on behalf of the Provost, Professor David Adewale Oke flagged off the Medical Education Development Unit (MEDU) of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos holding from Monday, February 14 to Thursday, February 24, 2022 in the Old Great Hall of the College. He welcomed the participants to the 2022 Train the Trainer Programme. He expressed his appreciation to the Director of the Medical Education Development Unit, Professor A.C. Mbakwem, the team, resource persons and support staff for organizing the training. He urged the faculty members of staff to make good use of the training to position and propel the participants towards building and shaping the future health manpower of the college and the country. He extolled that the training presents a great opportunity for the faculty members of staff to sharpen their focus, align their commitment and hone their skills towards the better understanding of the MBBS/BDS SPICCES Curriculum that covers acquisition of relevant knowledge, psycho-motor skills, communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate correct attitudes and behaviors, and commitment to self-directed and life-long learning. He reiterated that they are required to meditate on the objective of the CMUL SPICCES curriculum as their watch word and must be ready to deploy them during teaching – learning situations at all times to get desired results. He officially declared the 2022 Train the Trainers programme for newly employed faculty members of staff in clinical and dental sciences and wished them a delightful and stimulating training sessions.  In attendance at the Opening Ceremony were: Deputy Provost, Professor O.A.T.
