THE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS DELEGATION PAYS CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE FAMILY OF MRS. OLABISI LEKE-ADENUGA

The College Secretary, Mr. O.A. Obafemi-Moses led other members of staff from the College of Medicine University of Lagos on a condolence visit to the family of Leke-Adenuga over the death of their mother, Mrs. Olabisi Ewuyinka Leke-Adenuga, an Administrative Officer in the College.

The Family of the deceased headed by Professor Ajayi received the College of Medicine delegation and expressed their appreciation for the visit to console them on the demise of their colleague. The College Secretary, Mr. O.A. Obafemi-Moses, expressed the condolence of the Management, Staff, and Students on the untimely death of Mrs. Olabisi Leke-Adenuga, who until her demise was an Administrative Officer in the College of Medicine. The College Secretary also informed the family that the Registrar of the University of Lagos, Barrister Oladejo Azeez, expressed his condolence on the unfortunate incident.

The Family informed the delegation that the funeral arrangements would commence from Tuesday, 21st May 2019 with the Christian Wake at 5:00 pm at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Cole Street, Ikate, Surulere. The farewell service will hold on Wednesday, 22nd May 2019 at the Alumni Center of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos by     8:00 am, and the Church Service for interment will start by  10 am at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Cole Street, Ikate, Surulere, Lagos.

 

Mrs. Olabisi Ewuyinka Leke-Adenuga was born on 18th November 1969. She joined the services of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos on the 2nd of December, 2008 and was later converted to an Administrative Officer and posted to the Department of Restorative Dentistry, where she worked until her death. She passed unto glory on Sunday, May 12, 2019. She is survived by her husband and two children.
