The College of Medicine, University of Lagos has inducted another batch of 105 Medical and Dental Surgeons on Friday, 29th September, 2017 in the New Great Hall of the College.
The occasion was well attended by the Parents and Guardians of the Inductees who were all excited in sharing the most joyful moment with new Medical and Dental Doctors.
In his remark, the College Secretary, Oladejo Azeez noted that the University is known to have a pedigree for training excellent graduates which implies that the crop of Medical and Dental Surgeons being inducted had the best training from one of the best institution in the world.
The Provost, Professor F. E. A Lesi in his speech congratulated the inducted Medical and Dental Surgeons with their families and friends for the memorable ceremony which marked the successful completion of their training in the College. He told the inductees that a successful completion of their course in the College actually marked a new beginning in their career.
He urged them to seek for more knowledge while practicing the profession, adding that they should strive to know more and continued to learn even from an inanimate objects. He also told them to be change agents and commitment to their call to care for lives.
Also speaking at the event was the Deputy Registrar of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) Dr. Ilevbare who urged the new Doctors to abide by the ethics of the profession and guide against any form of unethnical practice that could jeopardize their progress in the noble profession.
