A COURTESY VISIT BY THE MANAGEMENT TEAM OF THE COLLEGE OF MEDICINE, UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS, IDI ARABA TO THE SURULERE LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL



On Thursday, 4th July 2019, the Management Team of the College of Medicine paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Surulere Local Government, Honourable Tajudeen Yussuf Ajide at the Surulere Local Government Council. The official visit was to appreciate his effort in rehabilitating a section of the road leading to the gate of the College of Medicine.

The Provost appreciated Mr. Ajide on behalf of Management, Staff and Students of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos Idi-Araba for keeping his promise in the execution of the project. He also informed him that a letter from the College was sent to appreciate his good works for the College and that this visit is to thank him and his Cabinet members.

The Provost, Professor F.E.A. Lesi, informed the Executive Chairman that this is the beginning of a partnership between the Surulere Local Government and the College of Medicine, University of Lagos Idi-Araba. He assured the Executive Chairman that the College will always assist the Local Government in any capacity required of them when called.

The Chairman, Honourable Tajudeen Yusuff Ajide introduced his team which included The Vice Chairman, Hon. Sulieman, Head of Administration, Mr. A.A. Adesanya and other Members of Staff present. He was pleased with the visit and thanked the Provost and other members of the Management Team. He assured the Provost of a continuing partnership and that the Local Government has always benefitted from the services rendered by Medical Students of the College during their Community Health week.

Other members of the College team were: Director of Finance, Mr. S.A. Akinade, Director of Engineering Services, Mr. N.I. Sobande, Acting College Secretary, Mr. O. A. Kayode-Owotutu,Dr. U. A. C. Okafor (Physiotherapy), Mr. O. G. Akinnagbe, Assistant Secretary (Provost Office)Mr. A. O. Alaba & Mrs. P.C Ajunwa (Corporate Affairs Unit) and Mrs. Bosede Adedeji (Biomedical Communications).
