NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in line with section 13 (iii) of the Association’s Constitution, the 2017 Annual General Meeting of the University of Lagos Alumni Association will be held as follows:

VENUE: Multipurpose Hall, University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba, Lagos.

ELECTIONS
FOR CANDIDATES
Interested contestants for elective offices are requested to obtain nomination forms online by clicking on www.unilaalumniassociation.org/AGM (FORM A)
Forms must be submitted on or before May 15, 2018. Completed forms and attachment should be scanned and sent to: unilagalumniassociation@yahoo.co.uk With the subject: NOMINATION FORMS FOR NEC ELECTIONS. Forms may also be submitted at the Alumni Secretariat.

FOR VOTERS:
This year, for efficiency, an electronic voting system will be used.
In order for Alumni to vote, annual dues of N1000 must be paid to the Alumni Bank Account UNILAG ALUMNI ASSOCIATION GT BANK 0019787148.

To enable the Association compile a comprehensive voter’s list, evidence of payment (teller) must be scanned and sent (electronically) together with a completed copy of the Form’ ANNUAL DUES 2018 – UPDATED INFORMATION FORM’ to the Secretariat.

This can be downloaded from our website www.unilagalumniassociation.org/AGM (FORM B) and returned by email to: unilagalumniassociation@yahoo.co.uk, or via Whatsapp to any of these numbers: 08033019836, 08023123667.

Payment can also be made at the Secretariat before the deadline dates.

Also, please note the following
Closing date for payment of annual dues for intending voters is May 13, 2018
The initial Voter’s List will be released for objections and corrections on May 14, 2018
Closing date for submission of nomination forms is May 15, 2018
Initial list of eligible nominees/contestants will be released for objections and corrections on May 17, 2018
The final list of Voters shall be released on May18, 2018
The final list of all contestants/nominees shall be released on May 19, 2018
Voters are to bring along their federally-issued photo ID – National Passport, Driver’s License, National I.D. Card or Voter’s Card with which they will be identified
Payment may be made at the Secretariat Office on Campus on the day of the elections however there will be no voting for last minute payment as there will be no fresh registration of voters at the Election venue
